Scar Coverage08/10/2022 ByJessica My daughter was in an accident which resulted in severe road rash with an open wound on her leg; we are keeping her leg out of the sun for as long as we can to avoid hyperpigmentation on her large scar. Daily use of sunscreen and her leg cover are mandatory. We have ordered 10 sleeves, having to cut some on the top to help them not be as tight. We have found these sleeves keep the UV rays blocked. She lives in them, from sun up until sun down. Her scar is healing nicely, I feel if we hadn’t been using these her scar would be much more prominent having had this harsh summer sun on her. We will continue to use for the next year.
